This is a blog dedicated to the now closed AnuMukti a journal devoted to non-nuclear India. The blog was started on 26thApril the day on which Chernobly disaster occured, with the hope that devastation like that never recurs again. After the Japanese experience in 2011 the nuclear issues become more relevant for India, which is all set to get for a nuclearisation of its power program.

We will try to publish articles from old issues of AnuMukti and would want to start discussions on them. Also people who want to contribute new articles are welcome. We hope that this blog will present a place for presenting opinions from all those who are concerned.

A quote by Surendra Gadekar from the first editorial:

It is our hope that this bulletin becomes part of a far wider ongoing debate about various ethical and social issues raised by the process of ‘development” which Gandhi had aptly characterised as the ‘satanic civilisation’.
